The NBA season has gotten underway, which is raaaaaaaaaaaaather amusing. On the other hand, it's probably not the best for my studies. Considering that I'm far busier this year than last, I must generally attempt to spend less time on the NBA . Nonetheless, one couldn't resist making some amusing predictions.

It's hard to remember a day this all-around terrible in the world of sports.

I plan on writing more extensively about my sejour in Mexico at some point in the future (i.e., when I get my blasted power cord), but for the moment, I must ask y'all's advice on a pressing matter: if they ask, should I tell my units that I go to bars and such? I'm leaning toward the strategic concession, a la Aaron before the vemmiting incident.

Looking back at my past few entries, I realized it my LJ looks like a dubious sports blog. Someone who didn't know me and read my LJ would get a rather skewed view of what I'm like, one thinks. Well, it definitely was not the matchup I had hoped for (was I the only person in the country rooting for a Spurs-Pistons rematch?), but it could still be rather entertaining. Here's hoping Shaq doesn't win a fourth ring.
