[Wandering around Espoir before her shift in the evening was always nice. The village was usually quiet, and in opinion very eye-appealing. Plus it was a good spot to catch any new comers in their struggle to figure out what the hell was going on.]

[But this boy in red didn't seem too lost. New perhaps, she vaguely remembered seeing a post or two from him a while back, but couldn't quite place it.]

Are you going exploring? Anything I can help you find out here?

[Friendly smiles. One thing Aqua was good at, was giving help.]

Yup! [Lloyd had no idea who this woman was, but that wasn't any surprise, considering the fact that this wasn't his world, but her friendly smile earned one in return.] Hmm... Well, I'm new here, so I don't really know where anything is. What places are important? And... [Hmm, priorities.] What about a market?

[Friendly vs friendly was always a plus. And even a little hard to come by in a lot of places. Somarium had plenty of nice people, but not everyone felt the need to be all smiles when meeting someone new.]

Well, this is Espoir Village. Residential area, mostly, and where everyone new seems to arrive. It's nice to check around sometimes, in case anyone else has shown up.

[Glancing about, getting her bearings.]

Market... There's a shopping district just North East of the Village, if that's what you mean?

I just need to know where to buy food. [Zelos had food, of course, but Lloyd wasn't sure how much he could always trust the other man to get things that were edible. Or things to drink that weren't alcoholic. Frankly, Lloyd had been unwilling to try any of the other bottled drinks Zelos had after the whole thing with the tequila.

Ugh. Tequila. Zelos was officially insane.]

So, there's a market to the northeast. That's good to know. [Something else she had said nags at him. He frowns.] People always show up here? Why's that?

"Looks like I'm not the only one going outside." Haseo raised an eyebrow at the boy passing by him, he was busy inspecting for any newest abnormalities. In a sense, this place was a lot like The World.

So many things that just..weren't right with it right now.

There weren't very many people out. Really, who could blame them? Lloyd grinned when he heard the young man's remark, though. "Guess we're both a little crazy, huh? What's your excuse?"

"I'd like to hear what crazy is in this place." He scoffed, crossing his arms. He smirked in reply, "I'm as bored as hell, why else?"

"Crazy is being stuck inside all day every day for a week with Zelos Wilder for a roommate." His answer was matter of fact, but still said with a wry grin. Sure, it had been neat at first exploring the apartment and the wonder of technology within it, but Lloyd preferred to be outside, doing things, not cooped up with his often baffling friend. "I was hoping it would get warmer, but I know what you mean. I don't care how cold it is out here. It's better than doing nothing."

[hey Lloyd, don't look now, but a random (and very drunk) NPC will be suddenly flying right in front of you to land in a heap of nearby trash. didn't quite make the open dumpster, but eh. probably for the better. might have hurt more.

should you turn, you'll notice a strange guy in a bartender suit and wearing sunglasses standing at the door of a local bar, still poised in the position that pretty much makes it obvious he was the one who threw the poor guy (he might still be breathing).]

Whoa! [Lloyd jerks back instinctively to avoid the flying man. His hands immediately go to his swords even as his head snaps around to see who threw that man. His eyes land on the bartender and he tenses.] H-hey! What's going on?

[hatesviolence]

[at first he doesn't even realize the kid was talking to him. but then he notices someone staring at him and he just looks up.]

Ah?

[He's not being immediately attacked, but that doesn't necessarily mean this guy won't attack. Lloyd darts a glance at the fallen man - was he all right? - but when he looks at the bartender, he isn't certain if he should be glaring or not. His hands tighten on his hilts.]

Why are you hurting that man?

[The winter has been very unkind and the weather has been just weird. Though Ema has to say she almost misses it snowing ice cream.]

I'm surprised to see most people even wandering around outside.

Nah, it's good! I just have to go to bed now, so I'll have to tag you back tomorrow~

[Lloyd exhales, the puff of breath freezing in the air as though to punctuate her statement. Then he shakes his head, grinning at the girl.]

Yeah, it's pretty cold out here, but I think I'd go crazy if I stayed inside all day. Wouldn't you?

Besides, people are waiting for me.

I guess you do have a point. Though, I'm ready for it to be Spring time soon. This strange weather is really bothersome and quite the scientific abnormality.

[One of the few times she actually buttons up her labcoat.]

Oh? You seemed like a new face here. I wasn't sure if we had a new residence here or not.

[The comment earns a strange look from him.] ...isn't it winter here? Isn't it supposed to be cold?

[Tugging his extra jacket around himself a little bit tighter, Lloyd shakes his head again.] Oh, I'm definitely new. I just meant that my friends are probably waiting for me back home. I'm looking for the way back. [He grins.] Can't do that if I'm not out here looking, right?
