[The winter has been very unkind and the weather has been just weird. Though Ema has to say she almost misses it snowing ice cream.]

I'm surprised to see most people even wandering around outside.

[Lloyd exhales, the puff of breath freezing in the air as though to punctuate her statement. Then he shakes his head, grinning at the girl.]

Yeah, it's pretty cold out here, but I think I'd go crazy if I stayed inside all day. Wouldn't you?

Besides, people are waiting for me.

I guess you do have a point. Though, I'm ready for it to be Spring time soon. This strange weather is really bothersome and quite the scientific abnormality.

[Tugging his extra jacket around himself a little bit tighter, Lloyd shakes his head again.] Oh, I'm definitely new. I just meant that my friends are probably waiting for me back home. I'm looking for the way back. [He grins.] Can't do that if I'm not out here looking, right?

Well, yeah, but it's too desolate even for Winter here. The animals seem pretty nonexistent here all of a sudden. Though, I guess you would notice more of that if you were over in Espior than here, though the weather for the last few weeks have just been strange.

[Pauses] Ah, I see what you mean, but it's kinda a waste of time. You might end up turning into a human Popsicle if that's what you're trying to do.

Huh. I just thought that was how this place was.

[Lloyd wrinkles his nose.] I don't think I'd make a very good popsicle. But I won't stay out here that long. I'll go inside when it gets too cold, don't worry.

What about you? What're you doing out here?

Other than getting a cold I'm out here working and making sure the residences are staying safe.
