[hey Lloyd, don't look now, but a random (and very drunk) NPC will be suddenly flying right in front of you to land in a heap of nearby trash. didn't quite make the open dumpster, but eh. probably for the better. might have hurt more.
should you turn, you'll notice a strange guy in a bartender suit and wearing sunglasses standing at the door of a local bar, still poised in the position that pretty much makes it obvious he was the one who threw the poor guy (he might still be breathing).]
Whoa! [Lloyd jerks back instinctively to avoid the flying man. His hands immediately go to his swords even as his head snaps around to see who threw that man. His eyes land on the bartender and he tenses.] H-hey! What's going on?
[He's not being immediately attacked, but that doesn't necessarily mean this guy won't attack. Lloyd darts a glance at the fallen man - was he all right? - but when he looks at the bartender, he isn't certain if he should be glaring or not. His hands tighten on his hilts.]
[Lloyd stares.] You threw him because of that? [Anger starts to tinge his voice.] Disturbing people doesn't mean you should throw someone into the trash!
[Letting go of his swords, he strides briskly to the drunkard's side and crouches down.] Hey, are you all right?
[Wow, this guy's been knocked so senseless that he's, well, not making any sense. He doesn't seem to be hurt too bad, though. Still...] Why'd you throw him that hard anyway? You could have really hurt him.
[Lloyd hasn't had much experience with the behavior of drunks, so what that sounds like to him is something completely different. He glares at the bartender even as he tries to help the drunk man stand up.] There's no such thing as people who are trash. There's good people and bad people and people who make mistakes, but everyone is worth the same as everyone else no matter where they came from or what race they are.
.......Sorry. It sounds nice, but I don't have the patience to treat scum who disturb and upset others for their own personal need as an equal. They're the type that piss me off the most.
[That answer gives Lloyd a moment of pause even as he struggles to hold the drunk man upright. It's more difficult than he would have thought, not so much because he isn't strong enough as because the man keeps wobbling and threatening to fall down. Ugh, he also stinks - but maybe that's just the garbage he nearly landed in.
Still, he gives the bartender an annoyed and doubtful glance.] What did he do that was so bad?
[Lloyd's mouth compresses into a thin line. That doesn't sound like justification enough for what the bartender did. On the other hand...
I wasn't here, he reminds himself. I don't know everything that happened. Still, he doesn't like it.]
I'll take him home. Then he won't bother anyone, and he won't freeze outside. [The last part is added pointedly. Seriously, the guy looks pretty sick and woozy. Tossing him out in this condition, Lloyd doubts he'll make it home by himself.]
Fine. [Lloyd shakes his head, then starts to head off, awkwardly steadying the drunk at the same time as tugging him along.]
C'mon, mister. Tell me where you live...
[Of course, getting the drunk home isn't going to be as easy as he thinks, but Lloyd will find that out soon enough. In the mean time... Hey, one less drunk on the bar's doorstep!]

Do whatever you want with him. I already did my job, so it's not my problem.
