Who: Zero and Harley Where: A park somewhere in Somni When: Backdated to the night of Rise's sleepover party Style: Looks like prose. Status: Probably closed? IDK.
All that Zero's efforts had earned him were a deeper frown, and a hmph as creature very determinedly went back to ignoring him.
Of course, if he were thinking more clearly, he might have realized that if Zero here could find him, then anyone else probably could too. But he wasn't, and he was too busy being stubborn and contrary to want to try.
Zero's movement, backing away like that, only seemed to signify that he was possibly done with this nonsense, so the creature closed his eyes again, tucking his nose down further into the grass against his stomach, and tried to relax again with a sigh.
He looked around the area, searching for any plants that a horses would like. Finding none at the location Zero moved further away, until he reached a store that sold fruits and other food.
"..." Without a word, Zero went inside and picked up a few apples, leaving money behind as payment.
Lily loved apples, and so did some of the other horses at the stable, so he figured the other horse would as well. He soon returned back to the spot he'd left the sleeping animal and pushed it away again, dangling a bright red apple in front of it.
"You want the apple?" He asked it, like if he was speaking to a person, much the same way he spoke with Lily. "Follow me, and I'll give it to you," he finished as he dangled it out of its reach.
Another snort. Sure he would. No, tomorrow morning was for....
He searched for some idea of what the morning was for. He knew it was there somewhere, but being curled up like he was, the soft grass under him, his own breath warm against his belly and knees... was distracting, to say the least.
It was somewhere between tiredness and trying to reach for that elusive thing he was sure he knew -- it had to do with why he was camping out in the first place, something about Rise having fun -- that he was distracted enough for his contrary mood and determination to go to sleep there just to spite this newcomer fall to aside for a moment.
Something was nearby. Something was behind him, vaguely. It was hungry and irritated... and

Not that apples weren't good, but he wasn't going to get up for them.
He gave the man another annoyed look, shifted slightly again, and resumed trying to sleep.

Stubborn brat. Even Lily, wasn't this bad.
"You want to keep sleeping here?" He said as he got up, "Fine." He sat down.
"I'll take you back to the fields in the morning."
