Who: Zero and Harley Where: A park somewhere in Somni When: Backdated to the night of Rise's sleepover party Style: Looks like prose. Status: Probably closed? IDK.
Another snort. Sure he would. No, tomorrow morning was for....
He searched for some idea of what the morning was for. He knew it was there somewhere, but being curled up like he was, the soft grass under him, his own breath warm against his belly and knees... was distracting, to say the least.
It was somewhere between tiredness and trying to reach for that elusive thing he was sure he knew -- it had to do with why he was camping out in the first place, something about Rise having fun -- that he was distracted enough for his contrary mood and determination to go to sleep there just to spite this newcomer fall to aside for a moment.
Something was nearby. Something was behind him, vaguely. It was hungry and irritated... and....
He opened his eyes again, and turned his head back, his long neck twisting a bit as he raised it. He pushed himself up onto his arms to give him enough height to peek out over the tops of the bushes to see Zero.
Human, sure. Normal hair color, check -- and somehow, that was both a relief, reminding him of the Junkyard, and a red flag, reminding him of what happened in the Junkyard, at the same time. But there wasn't any indication that this person had intended to do anything with or to him, aside from insist that he not sleep wherever he wanted to sleep.
Maybe he's like Jinana.
He obviously wasn't like Argilla or Serph or Heat, or he'd have already attacked.
A pause, narrowed yellow eyes regarding Zero from the top leaves of those bushes, the two white, pointed ears directed his way for a moment... and then the head lowered, and he curled right back up again, wary but tired. If his human pest tried turning into a clawed nightmare demon and eating him, he'd just... he'd...
-- burn it kill it AGI turn it to ashes shred it FIRE burn it roast it alive and devour --
...he'd probably run like hell and just ditch him somewhere. He shoved his demon's thoughts firmly out of mind again, and took a deep breath which turned into a yawn as he settled back into a comfortable position.

He'd be asleep before too long again.
