Who: Zero and Harley Where: A park somewhere in Somni When: Backdated to the night of Rise's sleepover party Style: Looks like prose. Status: Probably closed? IDK.
Nope, not interested in getting up yet. That was a pretty clear protest sound, by human standards. The creature stayed right where it was in the bushes.
The Hunter stared at the stubborn horse. He doubted the animal would wake up, if he continued this way. It obviously was a deep sleeper, the creature would probably be easily attacked in the wild he mused as he walked up to it, and attempted to flick it on the head.
A snort, and the creature pulled its head back, eyes open and blinking as it looked around to see who or what just did that. After a second, it found Zero and tried focusing on him.
From where it lay like that, the horse creature simply looked up at him for a moment. It blinked again as the words finally clicked.
Idiot?
Still tired, and a little agitated -- something in the back of the creature's mind insisted that the person standing before him was significant somehow, but the somehow wasn't quite registering through the haze of having just woken up yet -- its expression fell into what could only be described as a petulant frown, perhaps a glare of sorts.
A red tongue was pushed out from between the white lips, stretching a bit before being accompanied by a distinct little sound, commonly known as a raspberry.
The creature then took its tongue back and shifted to curl up, putting its head down on its other side, effectively turning its back on Zero.
Zero stared at the stubborn animal, reminded of Lily.
"Are you even listening," he muttered, as he reached out to push the stubborn creature. "You can't sleep here in town," he continued on, pushing it awake again.
A snort, and the creature scooted away from Zero within the confined space of the bushes, shifting in a way that looked a whole lot like a shrug, to push the other's hands off his shoulders.
A yellow eye peeked up at Zero again, watching him with annoyance. He was sleeping, and he'd sleep wherever he darn well wanted to, thank you very much. Wasn't that sort of the point of camping? Sleeping outside somewhere nice? And this place was nice, aside from the current company not wanting him to sleep here.
Something in the back of his mind tried to point out something about designated camping grounds... but he wasn't listening to that voice right now.
He gave him an annoyed look as he scooted away from him, and he could tell what that movement was. Lily had used it on him many times for the Hunter not to know what it was. He was about to mutter something to the stubborn animal, when it opened a yellow eye at him. Zero stared back at him, only see annoyance in the depths of the bright color.
"........."
Now he was getting annoyed.
"You're as bad as Lily," He muttered beneath his breath, "Now get up," he said one last time before getting up to look around for something to help him get the creature up.
