Serenity looked up from where she was sitting in the garden to her manor when suddenly she heard the rustle of wings behind her. She spun around and blinked at the man behind her. This man had just arrived in the garden of her manor but then... her doors were always open to someone... she just wasn't sure who he was. He certainly seemed to be new, she had never seen him before, however that wasn't saying much. The manor seemed to emit even more light at sensing its mistress's distress.

Still, she wouldn't... outwardly freak out. She took a deep breath and gazed at Castiel.

"Hello," she said softly.

Castiel certainly hadn't meant to frighten Serenity. His current navigation was akin to tossing darts at a dartboard blindly; sooner or later, he'd hit the center.

"Sorry." Castiel frowned slightly, knowing instinctively that he had intruded on something private.

"No, it is alright," she pressed a hand to her lips. "Who.. are you?"

"Castiel." He tilted his head slightly before elaborating. Personal skills really weren't his forte, but he could make conversation if necessary.

"Where is this?"

He knew already it wasn't Heaven, Earth or Perdition, but knowing where he was not was quite useless in the grand scheme of things.

[As a celestial being, Castiel will probably have no problem telling that this young lady here is actually the Sun Goddess.

Of course Amaterasu doesn't normally look like this, she's actually a wolf who has taken a more human appearance thanks to the dream world. If her ears and tail weren't evidence enough. All the same, she's taken to napping in the shade within the village. Only awakening when she felt the presence of someone suddenly beside her, blinking sleepy along with a tilt of her head. She wrinkles her nose, sniffing in his direction.] ...?

[ it's one of those Pagan gods!! Fortunately, Castiel does not share the same disdain for them as Lucifer does. His expression is unreadable, and he purses his lips slightly before speaking ]

I didn't mean to disturb you.

[Her head shakes at his words, sitting up with a light stretch as her tail gives a slow wag behind her as her expression is full of curiosity.]

That's alright! You didn't really. Who are you?

Castiel, an angel of the Lord.

[ he pauses for a moment as he figures out how to address the stranger. he's definitely aware she's a god, but she's not his god... troubling ]

Is this your world?

Welp, it had to happen at some point. _devil_inside August 17 2011, 05:50:59 UTC
Contrary to what was probably presumed to be his "lifestyle", Dante did, in fact, utilize more than pizza for food. In fact, the devil hunter was quite fond of a particularly savory and spicy stir fry, the recipe of which only he was privy to since it'd been one of Tony Redgrave's trade secrets ( ... )

Both Dante and Castiel proved that looks could be incredibly deceiving. Cas resembled an accountant in his well worn trenchcoat and suit, an accountant who had quietly unsheathed his angel blade in the commotion. The blade was hidden behind his suit sleeve, but anyone with enough experience would have realized the angel was most certainly armed. By nature he did not trust demons, but there was something off about this fellow, and for once, Castiel held back.

"That," Castiel gave a pointed stare at the gun, "would be stupid."

He could have elaborated that guns, rock salt or knives didn't work too well against angelic beings, but he saw no need to give the other party any more information than necessary.

The hammer cocking back on the black pistol was loud in the sudden silence. Blue eyes narrowed behind it, never wavering, never blinking.

"Yeah. Materializing outta nowhere and shockin' a man ain't exactly smart...pal."

An unheard snarl reverberated in Dante's ears, but he was hardly a rank amateur to just shoot first and sift through the pieces later. No, he'd lived too long for that, despite the human in his blood.

"Back off."

"I didn't materialize."

Trivial, but Castiel liked particularities. Technically, he just traveled faster than humans could comprehend. The snap of the hammer would have worried most people, but Castiel continued to stand there, unperturbed. If his face showed anything, it would have been the slightest look of pity in his eyes. There was far too much suspicion in the stranger.

I couldn't decide which character to respond with D: seekingbody August 17 2011, 06:37:02 UTC
[ Alphonse had been sitting by a fountain, reading, when a gust of wind blew him onto a completely new page. At first, he paid it no attention, but then he thought he'd heard a strange fluttering sound. Thinking it was a bird, he glanced up, only to see a strange man standing very close by. ]

[ Since he never feels anything, it isn't entirely out of the ordinary for him to completely miss someone until he's practically on top of them. Still... nobody's ever gotten this close to him without him at least hearing or seeing them, before. ]

Ah... hi...!

[ after a few millennia of existence, there's very little that takes Castiel by surprise. however, a walking, talking suit of armor with a soul encased in it is one of those rarities that does. There's a moment of silence before Castiel can fathom out a reply ]

You... talk.

[ And you can teleport. But Al doesn't know that yet. So he'll just nod at you ]

Yes! I move, too.

[ He's not making fun of you, really, just being a normal 14 year old boy and trying his best to explain things, but probably failing. ]

I surmised as much. I suppose this is one of the... lesser extraordinary events I've experienced today.

[ Castiel's tone is completely level, suggesting no hint of sarcasm or taken offense. and with that, Castiel takes his eyes off Al to scan the sky, almost as if looking for a sign ]

Hi! Have a pink puffball! pink_star_rider August 17 2011, 18:07:32 UTC
Kirby was just wandering around, thinking about how things were going to change now that Meta Knight was around. He was going to make him train to be a warrior, just like him. Honestly, the pink ball didn't like the idea all that much. He always preferred peace and, well, he took eating before fighting anytime of the time.

Walking around, looking at floor, he was quite startled by whatever sprout from behind him. He turned around and was quite relieved to see that it wasn't Meta Knight checking on him, again (he kind of can teleport too so, yeah...).

"Oh, hm, hi." He didn't sound as cheery as usual, which would be strange if Castiel knew him.

"Hello."

If encountering a suit of talking armor and a god-in-human-form hadn't made for an unusual enough day, encountering a talking pink gumball certainly did. Luckily enough Castiel had the courtesy not to blurt out an expletive like Dean, but even he couldn't help but stare for a moment or two to really comprehend what he had just flown in to.

"I... have no idea what you would be."

Sometimes the most direct approach worked.

If Kirby wasn't already used to people not knowing what he really is, he would find that question unusual. But, since he got to Somarium, that seemed to be a constant inquiry. Well, he couldn't really blame people for finding him strange, at first.

"Ah, Kirby come from space. Is alien!" He said, beaming at the stranger standing next to him. He didn't remember seeing that man before, but that seemed to matter really little.
