[ Alphonse had been sitting by a fountain, reading, when a gust of wind blew him onto a completely new page. At first, he paid it no attention, but then he thought he'd heard a strange fluttering sound. Thinking it was a bird, he glanced up, only to see a strange man standing very close by. ]

[ Since he never feels anything, it isn't entirely out of the ordinary for him to completely miss someone until he's practically on top of them. Still... nobody's ever gotten this close to him without him at least hearing or seeing them, before. ]

Ah... hi...!

[ after a few millennia of existence, there's very little that takes Castiel by surprise. however, a walking, talking suit of armor with a soul encased in it is one of those rarities that does. There's a moment of silence before Castiel can fathom out a reply ]

[ And you can teleport. But Al doesn't know that yet. So he'll just nod at you ]

[ Castiel's tone is completely level, suggesting no hint of sarcasm or taken offense. and with that, Castiel takes his eyes off Al to scan the sky, almost as if looking for a sign ]

[ A small pause, then, cheerfully: ] This place does seem to have some very strange events, that's for sure.

Today has been exceptionally long.

[ after a few minutes of staring up, Castiel sighs and looks back towards Al. He's been the most helpful person so far, so why not go for the gold. ]

Ah! Are you new? This is Somarium. It's a dream world.

[ Since Al hasn't met a whole lot of people here who don't sleep like him, he's assuming you're just another normal person. ]

There's no such place as Somarium.

[ Castiel's tone is firm, because he's quite sure that he knows every plain in God's universe. That, and he's been in dreams before. This place doesn't feel like a dream. ]

I don't understand. I need to find the Winchesters.

[ The Winchesters? Never heard of them. But Al will pull out his Dreamberry. ]

You could probably see if they're here with this. It's called a Dreamberry. You should have one, too.

[ Castiel fumbles through his pockets for a moment until he pulls out his own Dreamberry ]

I've spoken to the voice; it says Dean is unavailable.

[ Blank stare for a moment. "The Voice"? ]

[ Just in case, Al is flipping through his own Dreamberry, looking for a Dean or a Winchester. He holds up the list of names for you to see. ]

No, it doesn't look like Winchester or Dean are on the list. But you might find someone else you know?

[ THE VOICE. The voice that controls the phone. Castiel cranes his head over to look through the list, but all the names he sees are unfamiliar (or at least, ones he really doesn't care about) ]

They're... not there.

[ and for a moment, Castiel feels lost. No heaven, no Winchesters, and certainly no God. ]

I'm sorry. Perhaps they will show up at some point. People of all kinds from all different worlds show up here all the time.

[ Dean deserves his break, and Sam... well Sam's in the devil's trap for now. Castiel purses his lips slightly, as he considers where to go from here. ]
