[So it's been two weeks of arguing with herself, but she eventually decides that she should at least make an effort to be friendly. If he tells her to go away, he never wants to see her again, she'll accept that. But... she really hopes he doesn't.]
[As she approaches his home, she sees that he's outside, enjoying the sunshine, and he looks pretty normal. That's good; had he been scarred or visibly marked in any way, she would have felt terrible.]
[Approaching quietly, her head bowed demurely and carrying a basket.]
Hello, Lloyd. I've missed you.

Kanaya! Hey, I've missed you, too!

How are you feeling?

[He holds up his hand, waving her over.]
I'm supposed to stay in this chair, or I'd get up. We can talk, though! How've you been?

Beautiful day, isn't it?

[Sorry, he's going to keep sitting where he is. Hope he doesn't seem rude.]
I'm Lloyd, by the way. What's your name?

So there, standing a little ways from the entrance, the female shifted her weight awkwardly. ]

Colette!
[And for a moment he forgets that he's not supposed to move. He starts to stand up, then winces and sinks back into his chair, one hand holding his tender chest. Ouch. Bad move.
But it fails to dampen his excitement.]
Hey, Colette!

Wait, don't--!
[ Annnd it was a little too late. She gasped, finally making her way to close the distance between them before she was kneeling at his side. Poor Lloyd... but for now, she was going to try to smile for him. ]
Heh, hello. You have to be careful, Lloyd. It doesn't look like you are completely healed yet.

['Scuse him, Colette. He's going to try to pretend it doesn't hurt and slightly fail. But look, a distraction~ He reaches out to take her hand.]
But I'll be okay, I promise. Kratos has been healing me, and I've always been a fast healer. I'll be back on my feet in no time.

[It is equally unsurprising that he had spotted Lloyd. They had had near to no contact since their last encounter, and one could say in the vaguest of senses that maybe Eridan had missed Lloyd. Maybe not in a way that would promote fondness and endearment--but it was good fun to mess with the human idealist! He descends, landing not far from the porch, a grin plastered on his features.]
What a relief! Seein' as you're in good health and the like. I was worried I went to hard on you, might hawe snuffed the pathetic human life outta ya. But it seems your longewity is as fuckin' obstinate as you are.

Eridan. What are you doing here?
[And how did he even find him?]

[Guess who's approaching you Lloyd! He stops though, not stepping onto the porch yet, merely eying him with smugness.]
So are you chair-bound? Hawe I honestly crippled you so much? Or are you tryin' to reap the benefits a the pity-spoils that I so gracious gawe you? Not, a course, that anyone would fuckin' pity a fool like you.

I'm not crippled!
[And against better judgment, he'll prove it, too! He pushes himself up, forcing himself to ignore the way his ribs ache and protest at the move, and if he grimaces he hides it behind a glare of stung pride.]
And I don't need your pity or want it! Just go away. Don't you have better things to do?

His friend was hurt and he wasn't even there to help him. He covers it with a wry smirk, "Well, look who's up, huh? What'd you get yourself into this time?"
