[Hey, just because he doesn't know her doesn't mean Lloyd won't wave when someone passes by. He's in a pretty good mood today, and hey, maybe she'll stop and talk!]

[Sounds good to me. She's always friendly. She notices the wave and smiled to him, waving back.]

Beautiful day, isn't it?

Yeah. Even better when you're outside to see it. I've been stuck inside a lot, so it feels really, really good.

[Sorry, he's going to keep sitting where he is. Hope he doesn't seem rude.]

I'm Lloyd, by the way. What's your name?

Have you been in a sleep coma?

[No worries, she doesn't mind. She'll walk over to him though.]

I'm Flonne. It's nice to meet you, Lloyd-san.

No. Well, not really. I got pretty hurt in a fight and was out of it for a few days, and then after that I had to stay in bed. This is the first time I've been outside in a couple weeks.

[He smiles.]

It's nice to meet you, too. Do you live around here? Or were you just passing by?

Ah... I'm sorry to hear that... Are you doing okay now?

[Worried Flonne is worried.]

Both, actually.

Yeah. [And despite the fact that he's still relatively stuck in a chair, he's upbeat enough to make it clear that he's not lying.] I'm still not healed all the way, but it's better than before.

I usually live in Somni, in the First District, but the guy who lives here, he's my mentor, and he has healing magic. He didn't want to move me at first, and now we figure it's better if I stay with someone who can heal me when I need it.

I can heal too, if you want me to try?

[Lloyd blinks.]

Really? Even broken bones?

[Kratos had been able to heal most of everything else, but the broken ribs were beyond his abilities. Lloyd hadn't thought anyone else would have better luck.]

I'm not sure, but I can try, if you'd like.

Will it work? :o redcladidealist August 7 2011, 20:45:01 UTC
Well... [She seems nice, and Lloyd wouldn't mind at all not having broken ribs. He doesn't see any problem with trusting her.] Sure.

[He places his hand on his chest.] It's these ribs right here. Do I need to do anything?

Maybe, it's up to you. I don't know if she's dealt with bones before. ainoakuma August 8 2011, 02:31:03 UTC
[She gave a small nod, bringing out her staff from somewhere. She concentrated carefully.]

Prima Pretty Prippanica! Heal; Strength of Love!

[A bright, warm, healing light appeared and disappeared. She nodded once it was gone.]

Did it help any?

Hmm. Let's go for a partial healing then. o/ redcladidealist August 8 2011, 02:58:27 UTC
[The chant was a little strange, but other than that, it's close enough to what he's used to when someone casts magic that when he feels the healing wave of light, its warmth and comfort doesn't come as any surprise. Almost instantly the pain in his ribs fades away. Not gone completely, but...

He takes a breath, and for the first time in weeks he can breathe. Not completely freely - the ache that comes when he tries to fill his lungs all the way tells him he's probably still got fractures - but it is such an incredible improvement from before that he can't help but breathe again and again, savoring each full breath. A large smile spreads across his face.]

Yeah! Man, I feel a lot better now. Thank you, Flonne!

[She put her staff away and smiled.]

I'm glad that it helped.
