I was on my way home today when I looked up and, instead of seeing gray clouds, saw a brilliant orange sky despite the rain. I pulled over and took a few pictures. It was so beautiful that I forgot the chill. It really is possible to see beauty in the rain.

Call me old school but I still prefer CDs.  Partly because with CDs, I get a physical and digital copy but also because my car doesn't have an iPod deck.  Yes, call me practical, too.

So when I like music, I tend to still buy the physical album that will allow me to listen to it in the car.

I was reading Jon Favreau's Twitter and he said his young son is a fan of the iPhone app Pocket God.  Curious, I checked it out and it looks so awesome!  The game is exactly what it sounds like:  you are a God and control the fate of islanders!  I am thisclose to getting my first paid app.

I've never had bad sushi until tonight. This is enough to scare me from sushi for a while. Hopefully this fear doesn't last too long, otherwise I'd be eating nothing but soba and ramen next month when I'm in Japan. Actually, that doesn't sound too bad.
