No more nigiri

I've never had bad sushi until tonight. This is enough to scare me from sushi for a while. Hopefully this fear doesn't last too long, otherwise I'd be eating nothing but soba and ramen next month when I'm in Japan. Actually, that doesn't sound too bad.

That sucks. Where did you get the sushi?

I had crappy food tonight too, if it's any consolation. Maybe eating out on Mondays is a bad idea.

I was at this place called Ichima. It's on Foothill and is normally really good. :(

I wonder if the economy downturn is causing restaurants to skimp a bit. O_O

That wouldn't surprise me in the least. It's definitely been the case with some of the farmers, using cheap fertilizer, etc.

On the other hand, I hear fast food restaurants are doing quite well now.

Sorry you had food poisoning. I know where that place is, although I've never eaten there. We've always had good luck at Zono on Lake.

Your trip to Japan next month sounds awesome. I hope you'll deign to share pictures on lj.

I can't wait for my trip! At first, I didn't even want to go because I was stressing out about possibly getting laid off. Things at work are more stable now (though I don't know for how long) so I can start getting exciting about a vacation. I'll definitely be taking and posting pictures. :D
