Went in this morning for more IV therapy, and the port in my hand had failed. They couldn't find a good vein anywhere in my arms, either, so they had a nurse come in and try finding a vein by using an ultrasound machine. They could find it, but they couldn't get to it properly ( Read more... )

I've had a diabetic ulcer (open wound, with a dressing) on my right shin for about a decade now. It exists in a constantly-changing state of partially-healed. It really fucking hurts tonight, and I can't sleep. I've tried painkillers, massage, and distraction techniques.
