Why do I get bars over the door? I didn't even try to escape! I just baked pies and read and tried to avoid the fallout from everyone else having their powers!

Hooray, the rain is gone and my room isn't flooded anymore! Maybe my fingers will finally have a chance to de-prune now. I didn't think that skin could even be pruney that long. Guess this place is teaching me new things every day!

The kids are all grown again. Now I guess I know how parents feel when their kids go to college or start driving or something. I do miss being a mommy, but just a little bit. I like being able to drink and swear without worrying about little ears overhearing.

I'm really surprised at how ... fulfilled this week has made me feel. I'm running around kissing boo-boos, getting Band-Aids for scraped knees, giving bubble baths, singing lullabies, and putting the little ones down (and in five inch heels!).
