The kids are all grown again. Now I guess I know how parents feel when their kids go to college or start driving or something. I do miss being a mommy, but just a little bit. I like being able to drink and swear without worrying about little ears overhearing.

Now, though, it's wet. I'm not a big fan of being wet, especially when it's not ( Read more... )

Well, at least now you know how good you'd be at it when you have your own kids.

If you're cold, maybe you ought to snuggle up with somebody warm. That way you can share body heat together.

I hope so. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Well, if somebody warm wanted to find me, I'd be in the library under the table nearest the door.

Sure.

...Is that an invitation?

It might be. Are you somebody warm?

Did all of your clothes get wet? Dx

Pretty much, yeah. Luckily, it's not raining in the closet, so they can drip-dry when I hang them up, but ugh, I hate it.

I'm sorry about that, that's a terrible shame. ^^() I kept mine in my closet, so most of them stayed dry.

Yeah, these uniforms don't hold up to anything. How are you keeping the clothes dry when you wear them out?

Nothing wrong with a grown woman jumping in puddles. I plan to still do such a thing when I'm a withered and decrepit old bugger. I'm not going to be some curmudgeonly old geezer.

Come jump with me! I mean, when I'm jumping. I'm not right now. I'll let you know!

Yes! I mean, we're going to get soaked anyway so might as well have a laugh at the same time!

Exactly! I like your attitude.

It is nice to be able to say what you like without someone screaming "bad word!" in a shrill voice. With more jumping.

I'm trying to hide from the rain for now. My shoes are sloshing if I walk. I might switch them for my boots if I need to go downstairs again at some point.

I'm trying to hide, but it's so boring to stay in the room all day. Oh! Where did you find the tupperware for your food? I'm going to try and follow your example for food-stashing.

I switched out of my boots. My shoes are completely soaked, but like hell am I letting a pair of Louboutins get wet.

That's why I dragged Cas up and used books to prop up my blanket fort. I found the tubs in the cupboards under the sink and either side of it. I also have a load of food and drink under the beds so feel free to help yourself. I didn't really know what you or Grif or Gokudera liked so I just grabbed a bunch of stuff.

Oooh, no wonder, I wouldn't ruin a pair of those either.

[[ooc: I can totally see Tonks knowing about designer shoes for some reason.]]

You know, maybe I'll commandeer Grif and do the same. After I raid the kitchen and your stores too. You did say you brought up alcohol, right?

Giving me those shoes is the nicest thing this place has done for me!
