I just learned to knit; just now, after months of wanting to learn, of watching others do it, I've just now begun. I only know how to do the knit stitch, not the pearl. I am borrowing a friend's set of needles, though I bought my own yarn. I don't know how to judge good yarn, so I ran my fingers along the rack and weaved them through the strands ( Read more... )

So I'm finally starting to read up on various "studies" searching for the economic cost/benefit of undocumented immigrants. Most studies are state specific, so that important differences between methods of taxation and health care provisions can be taken into account.
