On Saturday, Aaron and I leave for Iceland. People who've been there are excited about our trip. Two of my coworkers won't shut up about it, in fact. Many of the rest are asking, "Why?"

The New York Times has an interesting article about unsigned writers who develop a following by turning their novels and short stories into podcasts. Now, the writers I know have great stories, wonderful voices and superb acting skills. They could really do something great. *nudge nudge*

My trip to Montana a couple of weeks ago was cut a day short due to fog. I had to overnight 4 hours away (by car) from my final destination, and it was annoying, to be sure, but I had it easy compared to travelers stuck in Cheyenne a couple of months ago.

I've never heard anything like it.
