My friend Hannah is a stand up comic & writer. She put a shout out on Facebook for anyone who still had a toy from childhood. I said yes and she eventually got back to me that she is writing a coffee table book on the topic & wanted to interview me for it and take pictures of me & my toy two headed dragon I've had since I was a kid.

So it is no secret that that I am not a fan of where I work.
The job itself is fine, one of the best I've ever had truth be told. But the environment really wears me down, & the blind issuing of orders from upon high too.

I am now 15 stone.

I've lost 2 stone since the end of June.

My house mate asked me "what is your long term goal then?"
I told him my plan was to get laid :)

Plans of mine just seem to wonder away from me this year. Luck just doesn't roll in my favour in 2011. Last weekend was a prime example.

So I didn't put myself into nanowrimon this year after all. Evacuee of my eye.
Despite all I have typed on my iPod (or should I say EYEpod? No. No I shouldn't) I felt it was too risky for my eyes health and I could guarantee that say tomorrow I wouldn't be forced to sit in a dark room and miss my word count.

So that was all about how it's physically effecting me, but this is about how it's effecting my spirit, my moral.

I always knew after this happened to my right eye way back when that there was a chance it could happen to my left eye too, and I am lucky that it happened when I could rely on my right eye for vision (please don't let those words be ( Read more... )
