We've had a phone call from the HR people at hubby's work. They are offering to give him an open reference, date of start/finish, attendance and how well he worked. My tatties are flowering, my carrots (the few that survived) look like they are flourishing, and my lettuce is huge.  I am desperate to dig up the tatties to see what is happening underground but have to be patient till the flowers go and the stalks die back.  The lettuce I have no idea what to do with, I did not anticipate so many of them, never ( Read more... )

As you are aware I've been off on my jollies, visiting places I've never seen in my 50 years in this lifetime. so behind the cut is my holiday.

Today hubby has his very first day in his new job after 6 months on the dole. Oh boy is he nervous, up and ready to go about 2 hours before he has to be there and it's only a 30 minute walk away.
