Well, we've had New Dog - Yaeger, Bugsy Malone, Bingley, Bosco, and finally Buster - for about a week now and things have evened out a bit. He's aggressive when it comes to treats, but we're hoping to break him of that. New dog arrived last night and today has been filled with drama, drama, drama. New Dog bit me for no discernible reason, which started a dogfight because you don't fuck with Bebo's Momma. Later, they had another huge fight. Luckily, Bebo responds to voice command even during fights, so we were able to separate  ( Read more... )

 Our offer was accepted for the house! All that's left is the inspections and closing. Since Dad's paying cash, we don't have to worry about a loan and things should move along quickly.

Yesterday, Texas Tech called to officially congratulate me on my admission and get me signed up for orientation. I'm still waiting for that letter, but I'm in.

 So, the house business is moving along! We narrowed it down to three houses; one that was fantastic, one that was recently renovated, and one that was simply in our price range. In the end, it was most sensible to get the one in our price range and just update the heck out of it, because the other two were much more expensive and still needed huge ( Read more... )

 Bebo is 100% Cancer Free. The lab came back negative and the pathologist couldn't figure out WHY his skin inflamed and lesioned, but it's not a bite, infection, genetic illness, or cancer. They're also confident that they won't return since the surrounding tissue was completely normal.

It was surprising news, but fantastic!

 So, everything still in the air, but things are at least a little, um, steadier?

Bebo had his biopsy this morning and we're going to pick him up in about ten minutes. They said everything went fine and we should have the results within a week. I'm so relieved the waiting isn't very long. It's just killing me.
