Unfortunately, the scent of cheese smacked Waka in the senses before the music even got a chance to. This guy kind of stunk a little. Wh...
"..." Regardless, he stands nearby and folds his arms, trying not to let the pungent aroma get to him. He wasn't exactly a big fan of cheese, but the music was alright. Might as well show some level respect for his fellow musician, despite him smelling kinda godawful.
"Bonjour!" Waka replies with a cheery wave. His hand seems awfully close to his nose. "I couldn't help but listen for a while. Have you played that thing very much?"
And of course...
"And what a... lovely style you're sporting." Afros? Totally in, right?
Mei Ling is just outside, watching curiously. (and trying to ignore the smell of cheese)
What a strange instrument. What a strange way of playing it. Maybe she should listen to more music like this - it's not like it was bad in any sense of the word. But she never encountered someone actually using the music rooms for... music.
And Mei Ling edges into the room, staying to the edge of it. She doesn't want to disturb him, but she is enjoying the music greatly. So she's going to concentrate on being unobtrusive because after all - there's nothing worse than breaking someone's concentration unnecessarily.
But it's not like she can't help tapping her foot along.
Duster looks up and notices a lady tapping her foot along with the beat. Well isn't that pleasant, another visitor. He nods in her direction and keeps playing.
Well, Sable was sure intrigued by the music! As soon as she heard that catchy tune while walking down the hallway, she couldn't help but poke her head into the music room.
Sure, whoever was playing the music kind of smelled like cheese, and his apparel was......interesting, but she tried not to make that smell or what he was wearing get to her. The point is that this man played a mean bass and she wanted to stick around and listen! So, without saying a word, she shuffled herself into the room and continued listening to the music.
Oh look at that, there's a chimera lady (he assumes lady, what with the apron and all, but Duster, really, that's quite sexist in this day and age) in the room.
Gladys was awfully curious. She didn't know what a violin was, but she did know what a guitar was and it looked like one...albeit it was deformed than how she remembered. She curiously watched the man play the up-right guitar-thing, quietly wondering why he was playing it differently than that one customer she got to meet while lived at the piranha store in FDC.
After a certain point, she couldn't contain her curiosity any longer and decided to speak up.
"Is that a big version of a guitar? It sounds very different to a normal guitar."
"No, it's more like a large violin," answered the man. "A very, very large violin. I'm just playing it sort of like a guitar because that's how you play it in rockabilly or jazz music."
"A vi-o-lin? Gladys pronounced the name slowly as she tilted her head to the side. She gazed at the instrument, trying to picture a smaller version of it. "What's a violin?"

Not to him, no.

But Duster had no idea what the man meant by style.
"You like my shirt?" asked Duster. "Or the pants?" he asked further. His bright, bright magenta pink pants.

Duster certainly was a popular guy lately. He needed to practice during hours when regular people are awake more often.
"I was the bassist for Desperado Crash Mambo Combo, DCMC," explained the beafro'd man.
