The North Atlantic cod is a fish adept to living in cold waters. It produces a protein that acts as anti-freeze and lets it live in freezing waters. If one were to take a cod out of below freezing water, the protein would stop working and the fish would instantly crystallize. -

I know it's too easy and too obvious to wax poetic about a wooden tall-ship, but I can't seem to stop. I've been going down to Penn's landing and working on the Gazela and have a plethora of new bruises, cuts, a head bump and busted finger to show for it.
