I find it so interesting that I can go on a week long trip to Key West, Florida but I cannot take care of an ongoing an potentially fatal (well, this is a longshot...but it sounds hella serious!) health problem.
plane tickets: free, by way of Wendy's dumpster
accomodation: free, by way of a nice bus driver, an annoying Israeli with a cement front yard and some pirates with room to spare on their boats.
food: free, by way of early morning surprises in the boat's trap plus some $100 on other goods.
entertainment: something and nothing. but not too much? I rarely get bored.
treatment for tooth abscess which could potentially eat my brain: I don't even know. My Ma says I need a round of antibiotics?
emergency appointment at Penn dentist school: $40
root canal at same: $350-$500
crown at same: $400-$500
plus, I have a somewhat rational fear of dentists and am scared that the students won't know what they're doing. There's also the chance, because I let it get this bad, that it's too late for a root canal and I will need to get my tooth pulled. If this happens I am for sure getting a gold tooth like I should have done while I was in Peru and going back to Florida to join my pirate friends that await.
