Why don't they make toy diecast cars like the ones I drive =/? It's not fair! Okay, I got hooked into watching The Celebrity Apprentice just because of the 'celebrity' factor ;b. Yeah, I know that's basically a death knell for any game show or reality show, but I enjoyed watching it nonetheless. In case anyone doesn't know already, I found out last Monday that this year's FallCon will be in the State Fair's GRANDSTAND o-O! According to the guys at Source, FallCon is hoping to one day have 2 floors of convention stuff. This year will just be on the ground floor. Sigh, well, I tried getting tickets to BARRY MANILOW's Evening of Music and Passion concert earlier today and failed --;. The Xcel Energy Center's seating is crappy O~O! The best I could get is somewhere in one of the side sections (116-118 or 102-104) NOT on the main floor for a whopping $250.00+! I'm not sure that view is worth $250.00+, so ( Read more... )

I just found out that Monty Python alum Terry Jones will be in town tonight for a lecture at Augsburg College AND he will be doing a book signing TOMORROW from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Augsburg's Barnes and Noble's bookstore!
