Man, I'm old ;b!

I just got a postcard yesterday for my 20 year high school class reunion --;. Oy, I keep wondering if I should go or not just for giggles, but I was never the social butterfly in high school whatsoever. I didn't even attend my other high school reunions to boot. I'll probably NOT go because it's on the same BLASTED weekend as Kakkoi Con AND The Uptown Art Fair. I'm already going to be doing double duty that weekend just so I can attend both events O~O! I think I can at least help the reunion organizers find one of my missing classmates though only because my parents are friends with their family. She's living here again too, so she might be interested in attending even though I haven't actually spoken to her since her wedding.

Speaking of art fairs, I went to my first art fair of the season, the puny Arts@Oval at my local city hall's skating rink. I finished looking through the entire classroom of artists in about 5-10 minutes. There wasn't anything too spectacular, but, eh, it was free =/. There was a LOT more traffic at Har Mar's craft show because of its location, but the stuff there was worse than Arts@Oval. There was even an artist drawing kids' faces as fairies in various pre-selected poses charging $10.00 for just a sketch and $20.00 for a color version. The drawings looked a little creepy ^^;.

While I was in Har Mar, I saw 2 more stores were closing this month including the local artists' store. Har Mar is really starting to look empty as if it weren't empty enough before. I wonder what's going to happen to all the 'new' empty spaces situated right in the middle of the mall. I know Staples plans on taking over the old theaters, D'Amico and Sons will probably be building where the old Firestone used to be, and Cub will take over the adjacent empty spots near its store, but I have no idea who's going to occupy these new vacant spaces. My sister and her hubby think they should just tear down all of Har Mar and start from scratch ;b. That's not a bad idea actually ;P!
