The Celebrity Apprentice finale and other things.

Okay, I got hooked into watching The Celebrity Apprentice just because of the 'celebrity' factor ;b. Yeah, I know that's basically a death knell for any game show or reality show, but I enjoyed watching it nonetheless. Heck, I even went to Quizno's to try the 2 sandwiches that were created on the show even though I haven't stepped into a Quizno's in who-knows-how-long because Potbelly came into my life. I definitely liked Trace Adkins' sammie much better than Lenox Lewis' Champ. It was much more tastier and interesting. I watched the live finale last night LIVE (NO SPOILERS!) and wasn't sure if I liked The Donald's choice =/. Eh, it's his show. If there is another celebrity version of The Apprentice, I would definitely watch it again though ;).

Over the last week, I've taken up videogaming again, somewhat. I'm currently playing the first Legend of Zelda game via the GameCube special Zelda promo collection disc. I've never actually played this game before, so I thought I finally should especially since I don't have any new games around in the house since I beat Twilight Princess and finally 'finished' Pokémon Channel. Oh my gosh o~O! I never realized how HARD the first Zelda game is! It's even 'harder' than The Legend of Zelda II, which I also recently replayed again sometime last year. Back when I had my old NES system, I remember Zelda II being quite easy, but I think I've gotten too used to the 'new' Zelda games. Now I know why all the new Zelda games have tons of hearts and millions of rupees hidden almost under every bush and rock (or enemy death): It's because the old Zelda games were pretty stingy on hearts and rupees and all the hidden items really are hidden with NO clues pointing to their whereabouts whatsoever! Zelda II is only slightly 'easier' than the first Zelda game because the game allows you to accumulate multiple lives. In Zelda I, you only had one life, and it was pretty hard to keep X(! I think I've already 'died' over 100 times, and I'm still on the 6th dungeon. In all the later Zelda games, I was practically giving rupees away because my money sack only had so much room to spare, and it really took an army to actually kill myself. When I started playing Zelda I, I think I was dying every 1-2 minutes into game play XP! I really appreciate the thought the later game developers did for Zelda now, including the overabundance of life and rupees and obvious clues about hidden objects. It's so hard to enjoy a game where one constantly dies and has to start over from the very beginning --;. Now that I finally have enough hearts and battle stamina to play longer, hopefully, the rest of the game will be more fun.

Ooo! Next week is Anime Detour! I hope it will be more enjoyable than last year ;P!
