V told me today that I was doing a great job! Even if one sees and knows that one is doing a good job, it's a really good feeling to know that one's bosses know and see that one is doing a good job, and care enough to tell you about it. Whew. Successfully survived my 2nd Monday as acting manager at the Lake Forest store. I am really tired and am going to go read Mermaid's Madness (Jim Hines) in bed until I fall asleep. Today was scheduled to be many Acen meetings, but one got cancelled because our con chair, who lives in Louisville, didn't make it up here due to the weather.
