Greeters and Gathering! thepull_mods January 2 2012, 08:17:48 UTC
The Snow globes continue to pop up, slowly falling into the field through out the morning. Greeters who make it out there are asked to gather up a few and take them carefully to the conference/meeting hall in the Tower apartments. There they will be placed on tables for others to pick them up.

The field has snow covering it, so sometimes globes are hard to see. Be careful not to trip on them, and keep a look out for falling incoming globes. The globes will stop appearing shortly before noon.

Those who are not greeters are more then welcome to come out and help carry them in, or just look for your own. Those of you trying to make off with others globes however, be careful! The Greeter Protection Group is also here helping!

[ She's standing at the edge of the field with a thermos of hot chocolate and styrofoam cups to fill up for any arrivals new or old, but the rest of the time she's helping bring globes in, hunting among the drifts of snow.

Whether you're a new arrival looking for directions or an old friend looking to catch up, you're more than welcome to say hello-- or ask her about a certain snowglobe.] ]

[ Late as usual when it comes to Greeter gatherings, he's energetically ploughing through the snow in strong boots, occasionally knocking a globe by accident with his strides; so when he arrives by Yako it's at the end of an apology to another Greeter. There's not much he can do as part of the Greeter Protection force right now, but if there's manual work to be done-- that's his strength.

...Not on an empty stomach, though. Kotetsu pauses his journey just next to her, arms pressed against his body in enduring the cold. ] What a morning call! You been here long?

DID WE EVER DECIDE IF THEY MET EACH OTHER OR NOT... topslug January 4 2012, 17:05:53 UTC
[ Yako flashes Kotetsu a sympathetic grin-- she's pretty well-wrapped up herself, but the officer looks like he could use an extra layer or two of clothes. Instead, she pours him a cup of hot chocolate and holds it out to him, beaming brightly. ]

Only for the last hour or so. They just keep coming, don't they? [ She means the snowglobes. ]

The Lobby and Conference Room thepull_mods January 2 2012, 08:18:18 UTC
The conference room is being kept safe by Greeters and Protectors who are willing to help assist anyone who wants help in finding their globe. For those who do not want help, just come in anyhow, take a look around and try to find yours! Sit and look over your globe or talk to friends who are also looking!

The conference room will be open for a long as it needs to be in order for everyone to find their globes, so come in at any time day or night. Everyone, come and find your snow globe!

Sadly Greeters can’t ALWAYS be on guard 24/7 so there are some chances that someone can make off with something that isn’t theirs. They'll do their best however!

France's Snowglobe paysdelamour January 2 2012, 17:04:42 UTC
Found here. Helen is going to find France's orb, but he is going to be carrying around with him everywhere he goes for lack of a better thing to do. Feel free to find him anywhere in the port.

[ This had been far from anything Helen had expected when she'd gone to the baseball diamond that morning. Newcomers were one thing but snow globes? She'd been collecting some that morning, giving them to the Greeters that were taking them away.

Except for two. She'd taken an occasional glance at them as she'd collected them, curious about what they could mean. That was until she caught sight of something that looked very familiar. Her home. Not the Sanctuary but her home as it had been when she'd been a child. It had had some remodelling in later years but this was unmistakable. That one she'd kept, not wanting it with the others, at least not until she knew more. It was knowing this that she was a little more weary when collecting the others. Although a second happened to catch her attention also, although as for putting her finger on why? She couldn't say that. Pulling out her NV Helen placed a call to Francis, wanting at least his opinion on the thing ]

Sorry this is late boo paysdelamour January 6 2012, 15:55:21 UTC
[Francis sees it's Helen on his screen, and doesn't seem to waste any time in trying to talk to her. After maybe two rings, Helen sees Francis and hears:]

Allo! It is good to hear from you again, chérie~! To what do I owe the pleasure?

[ Helen gave him a smile, although if it wasn't as warm as usual it was because she was a little distracted ]

I found something in the Diamond that I was wondering if I could ask your expertise on, if you're not busy.

[Its owner is not here...at least not yet. The globe is eerily stormy when shaken and shows blurred images of cityscapes. The most noticeable scenery, however, consists of tiny people. You will have days to hold on to the globe if you wish, before its owner comes for it. Or you could give it to him yourself.]

[Re-l finds it at some point on the second day, looking into its structure and shaking it. She recognizes the skyline of Gotham from some of the other globes, but the people within it...

She spends a long time looking at it before she realizes who it must belong to. She frowns.

She'll keep an eye on the globe and see if he comes to pick it up.]
