The Lobby and Conference Room thepull_mods January 2 2012, 08:18:18 UTC
The conference room is being kept safe by Greeters and Protectors who are willing to help assist anyone who wants help in finding their globe. For those who do not want help, just come in anyhow, take a look around and try to find yours! Sit and look over your globe or talk to friends who are also looking!

The conference room will be open for a long as it needs to be in order for everyone to find their globes, so come in at any time day or night. Everyone, come and find your snow globe!

Sadly Greeters can’t ALWAYS be on guard 24/7 so there are some chances that someone can make off with something that isn’t theirs. They'll do their best however!

[ It isn't hers, that much is obvious from the first scene, but she takes a seat and goes through all the images twice before putting it back. ]

[He recognizes France, and it's not modern day France, which rules out Francis. Still. He makes a mental note to tell Francis about it, if he wants to see.]

[ Caster doesn't shake the globe to peer inside it outright, but when she felt confident that the others were preoccupied, she took a swift gander. Ultimately, the scenes are lovely, but it reveals nothing about the identity of its owner. Nonetheless, she kept it stored away in the corner of her memory. ]

Sooner or later, Joe's curiosity can't help but get the best of him.

He'd been trying not to distract himself in looking, while helping the greeters carry the strange spheres inside. But finally, as he's putting an armful down on the table, one rolls and slips-!

Joe catches it deftly in his palm. The snow inside swirls, then settles. He looks...

A lamppost, in the middle of a forest? It's still 'snowing'. He jiggles it a little, so that the snow might all quiet down. And then there's a castle, on cliffs by the sea, completely wonderful-

Joe sits down carefully, as to not disturb it, cupping the scene gently between his hands.

[ A tall man in a simple brown garb approaches the young man from behind silently. ]

Have you found what you've been seeking?

[ His voice carries a note of warmth and familiarity, though it may not be immediately recognizable. ]

Huh?

[His attention whirls over his shoulder with an expectantly pleased look, which deflates into something sheepish when he sees a man he doesn't know.

He had a voice, though, that almost sounds like-

No. Couldn't.]

No, I'm not really uh... seeking anything, really, just looking.

[He quickly wipes the open wonder off his face, and places the orb back down, embarrassed]

[ He smiles gently and picks up the globe. It chimes brightly and glows, but he pays it not mind.

He hands it back to, Joe. ]

Look again.

Oh- I already know this one's not mine.

[He explains, embarrassed, and in his fluster doesn't quite catch it lighting up.

But as it's offered to him again, with gentle words that make him do a double take again, he lets the snow swirl, almost imagining it like a wish of starry skies that he can hold in his hand- he'd shut his eyes for full effect, but maybe that would seem too dumb and young and hopeful.]

There's thrones, and... wow, probably a place where princes and princesses live, looks like. And-

[Another stir settling. He frowns, squinting at the tiny lion. Could that be-? Aslan? A lot of broken stones...] The place must be very old.

As old as time itself.

[ It may very well be the Lion, though it is but glimpse of gold and now more. ]

The stone was not always broken.

[He frowns, glancing up from the glass.]

There was an earthquake?
