...The city really is considering reclamation of property for other uses?

...The Landlord has been in a foul mood all day and hasn't really spoken on anything. I really hope they don't take the apartments away though. If people start showing up again they'll have no place to go.

If that's the case, we'll just have to figure out how to put them up ourselves. Raul's still clearing the new building for the Newcomer Political Party, and community center, but we could set up temporary housing in that space, if necessary. Dr. Xavier's new building also- and Miss Arisato also has boarding space.
What about those of you with greeter positions? Have anyone spoken to you yet?

That's all well and good for now, but Mr. Creeds going to need that space after a while, and Miss Re-l's idea for finding a new place on our own is a good one but... it seems like such a waste. If we were to buy a building why not try and buy this one? Not that any of us have the money for that, but it's right here.
[A pause. Hnn] No, not yet. I tried to speak to the Landlord today after hearing it, but he's not in any mood to talk.

But I think--well, Mr. Edgeworth might know if there is something in the law that would prevent them from acting out in this manner! Something to show that there are plenty of needy people who utilize the apartments--because even if we haven't had any recent arrivals, there are still those who opt to remain in the Tower Apartments!

I have the feeling they won't really mind much about the people living in the apartments still. [Which is sad as she actually rather liked her home here...] It wouldn't be so bad if they left at least one of the towers to us...

We'll need to find another building. I've been pondering about doing that for a while, but with all that's been going on I haven't had time. Now might be the time to do it.

But a new building wouldn't be right here like this. This is the safest, closest building to the field. Anyone appearing at night would be in twice as much danger.

In any case, people were once arriving on what seemed to be a monthly basis. One month passing without a new arrival is too early to make the conclusions they're making; it's idiotic at best.

But I agree with this. It's far too soon to even consider it. This building has been here for new arrivals since the 1950's. That's quite some time. Can it really cost that much to run?

I suppose there could be a lot said to why the city is anti-newcomer. You fear what you don't know, for one. We're not from here at all. There have been some... issues from time to time as well. I think it's come to the point that they think if they make our lives miserably we'll magically go home.

A shame for them, then, since it's more likely that the more miserable we are, the higher the chance we'll lash out in retaliation. History's shown this often enough.
