Well, it's not as big a thing...

(I mean, this is gonna be huge)

At Merlotte's we have theme parties, sometimes- not in awhile, though. It's crowded after Portside plays. The football games especially.

[And Pickles is just going to be sitting over here, shoulders shaking with quiet laughter, because he's pretty fucking amused by the transmission. On some level, he thinks Joe needs to take it down a few notches before he hits ultimate spazz levels and stops being cool.

But ever since Joe helped him set up the necessary electronics for the headbanger's zazz ball, Pickles didn't think he was that much of a dildo licker. He also had a pretty respectable understanding of music. So he could let him get away with being enthusiastic.]

Sounds exciting. [ Her tone has a smile, a subtle indication that she's politely humoring the boy. After all, heavy metal was far from her idea of a good time. ]

Out of curiosity, you do have people to escort the attendants back home, right? [ She assumed as much, since it was after sirens, but it didn't hurt to ask. ]

Escort- No, why? Everybody can stumble home just like everybody else who comes home from the clubs.

Oh, I thought that since it was a one-time event, it would be different...but it's just like that?

[ She clearly hasn't any idea on how a club would work. She only went to a cabaret once, and even then, it wasn't exactly intentional. She really didn't give much thought to the scene of a nightlife when it felt utterly inelegant. ]

Oh-

[Oh. Okay. In front of Terra, he feel a little bit stupid for a moment, just a little bit sheepish, about all of this.

...'cause Aslan's dead and some Crimson King is coming, and they should be training harder, getting more serious.

Suddenly, all the concert feels like is an empty bit of fooling around, goofing off, and he comes up dry for having a good, serious reason. His mouth hangs open a moment, anxious, teetering on ashamed-]

[And then he catches himself with a soft laugh, a toss of his head, an effort at carelessness. There's a certain caught tone of self-effacing going on in his mumbling, though.]

Heh...it's just, um. It's work stuff. Y'know. DJ-ing stuff. For my cred. For my job.
