I'm probably a third of my way through my hospital incarceration, and aside from feeling tired a lot and sometimes queasy (it comes and goes and I can't put my finger on a specific cause), my biggest complaint is that when you have a chest catheter, it hurts to hiccup. Two and a half weeks until my next (and hopefully last) hospital incarceration. I told everyone the first time that I didn't plan on being in the hospital again until I was giving birth (somewhere like 8 years from now) but they don't let you do things like get organ transplants outpatient. So working from home is not as glamorous as it would appear to be. I got a glimpse of it during some of my old jobs, but sitting in my comfy chair and staring at my netbook basically 24/7 is much less productive than sitting at my desk 40-50 hours/week was.

Please let me go back before June....

I am making hats in case I have to start wearing them all the time if I lose my hair, and I have to say that most of the hat patterns you can find at Joann's and those sorts of stores are really depressingly unfashionable. 2011 HAS to be better than 2010, I'm sure. Though I did manage to get myself a big-girl job with real health insurance, which has come in handy since Thanksgiving, when I got diagnosed with leukemia after a routine physical.
