Last night Dave won a $200 bar tab last night and Lisa won a $50 bar tab at the costume contest last night at the Ernst Cafe Halloween/Rocky Horror event. We spent Lisa's $50 last night on expensive cosmos and the like, but are saving Dave's for Christmas eve. Dave, Sam the cat and I are safe in Dallas at the Studio 6. The drive was not bad all things considered. Keep us in your thoughts tomorrow when Gustav hits land. We are scared but safe.

So after 4 hours 10 minuites waiting at the DVM I am sent home no further than I started. They have to contact Baton Rouge to see if they have the origional title (which I GAVE them so they better have it.) If they do not then I need to apply for a duplicate title in California - pay all of those fees and wait all of that time and then re-apply ( Read more... )

We purchased a 2002 SAAB 9-3 yesterday with 65,000 miles on it. I will not have it until sometime next week - once the check clears. I am super excited. We will have to take a trip to Baton Rouge (the dealer) to get a computer reset for the air conditioner. Other than that she is in top notch shape. Sarah, Dave and I went to the Harrah's Buffet for the first (and last) time last night. We ate for about THREE HOURS. All of a sudden it was 10pm and we had no clue where the time went. I FINALLY made decisions regarding my "Super Sweet 40 Birthday Party" Friday January 30, 2009. The "party" will begin Friday night at Margaritiaville. (It is a LOT cooler than it sounds.)
