I was wondering what would happen if I use default replacement skin and hairs, package up my sims without any CC (excl. defaults), and someone else downloads them and puts them in game. Would the sim have their default eyes and hair, or would it install my defaults as new CC/new defaults?

I received Sims 3 base game and Ambitions for Christmas, and to be honest I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm so used to certain things in Sims 2 (same-sex marriage, pregnancy, ACR) and I have no idea where to go to get similar mods for Sims 3. Is there a list or a database of some sort that separates creators by style? For example, Simgaroop and Anna and Nilou and etc., = Maxis Matchy, but Trapping and Miss Tiikeri and Pooklet and etc. would be something else, and so on. I've been hearing a lot of bad things about the inTeenimator-It's badly written and conflicts with a bunch of hacks, etc-but I keep hearing about another hack that seems to do the same thing: Jenflower's Woohoo Teens. How do I upload a lot "properly" without screwing up someone's game?

I really want to make my downloads folder smaller but I can't pick a style and stick with it and I keep things that I never use. I don't know how to trim my stuff down any advice on how you keep your folders small?
