Question: Hacks for teen woohoo

I've been hearing a lot of bad things about the inTeenimator-It's badly written and conflicts with a bunch of hacks, etc-but I keep hearing about another hack that seems to do the same thing: Jenflower's Woohoo Teens. Is this hack any different(read: better) than inteen? If it's not, is there a good, free hack that will do essentially the same ( Read more... )

Inteen is the only thing that I can think of that allows for teen pregnancy. Jenflower's Teen Woohoo does not.

For me personally, I've not had a problem with Inteen.

I'm another person swho uses Inteen with no ill affects. I use it with a selection of Pescado's hacks, ACR, and some of Cyjohn's and 2Jeff's hacks. I don't know what Jenflower's Teen Woohoo does.

I use Inteen with no problems, along with MATY director's cut, ACR, hacks by Cyjon, 2Jeffs, and various others. I'm unfamiliar with Woohoo Teens. Inteen's readme has clear, helpful info on load sequence, hack conflict troubleshooting, etc. I'm not super computer savvy, and it was very manageable for me. To give you an idea of my personal TS2 hack/mod comfort level, camera mods intimidate me, but Inteen doesn't. You could always try it in a test hood...

ACR allows teen woohoo, but not pregnancy, for the record.

For what it's worth, I'm not of the opinion that InTeen is badly written at all--the issue is that it's more complex than simply letting teens woohoo. In order to allow the pregnancies to happen and progress, the teens end up in a programmed in limbo stage where they appear to be teens, are treated like adults for three days, and then return back to teenhood at the age they should be. There's lots of options that alter how aging works aside from that...so InTeen then definitely won't work with simple age duration hacks, on up to more complicated things.

Bottom line, you'll be fine as long as you start out adding InTeen and add your other hacks with InTeen in mind. If it's age or pregnancy related, if it hasn't been made InTeen compatible by the maker, you'll most likely have a conflict.
