I'm pretty pleased with myself today. I got into work on time (before my colleagues again!). I define "on time" not in terms of when they expect me in the office, but in terms of when I tell myself I'm going to be in the office. It's funny when non-executives say "I made an executive decision and [insert decision here]" or when a colleague says, after there is a brief debate about what should be done, "oh, just make an executive decision". I just got a box of business cards from work. This is rather exciting since this is the first time I can participate in ritual of exchanging business cards with potential clients and other interested parties. At parties, no less!
