Looking ahead to January, there appears to be nothing worth going to. No interesting geek events, except a programming language conference at which the percentage of women will be less than %1. (Other than a conference in February, I think I'm going to stop attending geek event altogether.) No cool bands are coming to town to give their fans a tiny thrill in their grey little lives. If there was a bar that I could unproblematically go to hang out at, hell, I'd be there right now, not writing this, waiting 'till it's late enough to watch a movie that I rented at the last minute last night.
