RULES

1. STAY IN CHARACTER. You got into this game because you were able to demonstrate a good hold over your character with your application. That doesn't give you the chance to slack off now!
2. Stay active! The activity requirement is one log a month OR one comment log every two weeks, both at least five posts of your own long. If you have journal posts and journal threads you think will show us you are active, please also link us to those. Hiatuses will also be taken into account If you are seen as frequently (read: for multiple months in a row) doing the very minimum to get by or hiatusing frequently to pass checks, you will be warned once, and then subsequently removed. Character squatting is not tolerated.
   
   Due to a smaller amount of players, activity checks have been somewhat suspended for now. However, please try to keep up with the required one log per month/one comment log per two weeks. On the first Friday of every month, an activity check will be posted for the previous month asking all players to comment with links to their most recent activity. If this is missed, you will be removed from the game. If you are removed you will have one month to re-apply (with new samples) as your character, and your character will be allowed to keep their in-game memories, however you will not have a month-long reserve on this character. (You can, however, do a normal reserve.)


3. No god-moding (deciding or assuming the actions of other people’s characters), No info-moding (using your out of character knowledge while in character). Fourth Wall Breaking will be treated on a player-by-player basis. If you want to break a character's fourth wall, please contact that player and ask their permission first. Always err on the side of caution when it comes to making assumptions or claiming knowledge about a character; if you're not sure, run it by the player!
4. If you'd like to run a plot that causes havoc, destroys any buildings, or is generally a Big Deal, please run it by the mods. We also ask that there be at least 24 hours notice on the OOC community before a large plot goes into into action (large being defined as "anything that needs to be run by the mods"). That way all players are on the same page. Please note that these sorts of plots, especially with characters destroying surroundings, will hold IC consequences!
5. A player may play up to four characters, with two characters from the same series. If playing two characters from the same series, they must be characters who do not or would not interact in canon. These can be rare, so please ask a mod before applying for a second character from the same series!
6. All characters must be humanoid, there are no exceptions. We are not accepting characters who are not humanoid, even if you would like to change their appearance. If you are unsure if your character qualifies, please ask!
7. No web-only comics, real people, crack/gag characters, characters from tv commercials or original characters! Original characters will only be accepted to be NPCs. Please talk to a mod if you would like to play an NPC!
8. No duplicate characters, including the differences between Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts characters.
9. No PBs will be allowed unless you're playing a character with no canonical visual representation (characters in novels, etc).
10. All characters are completely stripped of superhuman powers. These powers have been taken by The Order's god. This includes powers that require training (such as Ninjutsu in Naruto) or are biologically inherent to your character’s species (such as Vulcan mind-melding). This does not include things like immortality or the need to drink blood.
11. You must show respect for your fellow players and for the mods. If you disagree with a decision that's made, please voice your opinion in a positive and cooperative manner. There's no reason to be rude.
12. Absolutely no drama will be tolerated.
13. If you do not do anything in the game within one week of being accepted, you will be removed from the taken characters list and your character will go back up for grabs.
