Another good night, though the little fellow was a lot more restless from 4am.
So far I have managed one (1) exam script of the hundred + I have to grade. The little fellow needs care so will finish this and take for a walk in the bright sun.

The poor little fellow had a difficult night of it, which of course means I did too. The snuffles and the general misery of having a cold, plus some coughing. We are in the coldest time of the winter, which is when spring technically begins. This morning I was a little worried that the young fellow had something up with his right eye but I cleaned it when I washed his somewhat snotty face this morning. Most of last week we had weather forecasts that said we would have high winds and low temperatures, plus heavy rain. Strangely, everything seemed to by-pass Dunedin, so North Otago had terrible weather as did much of the rest of the country. The dawn of another wonderful looking day. After the cold and the misery of winter, it is fabulous to see the bright sun rising, the blue skies and some wispy clouds drifting by. I had a good evening with a couple of friends, and we ate well. For the first time, the youngster fell asleep in a place that was not home. He had a long and tiring day apparently, and had not slept more than half an hour in the kindergarten.
