I think that isn't as important as that it's going to happen. People spend so much timing worrying when or how that they don't come to terms with the fact that regardless of whether or not they die in some sort of apocalypse or on their own that their deaths are inevitable. This post highlights something recently important in my life: the notion of being in control of things. I am often told I am controlling, and while I can see this about myself I always disagree on the a simple basis. I figure, if my personality is really about controlling and such, I'd be upset a great deal about things that were better at this/more all-encompassing than I am.

And yet I have no such disagreement with death, or controlling people, or institutions of greater power than I.

I fight for the right to be right, and to have opinions, but ultimately I'm not in it to be in charge, just to be heard. This goes for life just as much as anything else.

I understand that. I think we all like to have things our own way; otherwise what good would preferences and tastes be? I think the difference is what you do about it and how far you are willing to go to make sure it happens.

You aren't necessarily controlling just because you have strong feelings about things; it just means you are passionate about issues.
