I'm not really surprised to be honest and as much as I love him as The Doctor, I think it's time for him to move over and let someone else have a crack at the part. Besides, I wouldn't bet on him never reprising the role sometime in the future.  ( Read more... )

Arrrr.... It be talk like a pirate today landlubbers!! Don't ye be forgettin'!

So I was looking through some of the LJ themes/layout thingys and I found one I couldn't resist.

Late on Thursday night my new nephew was born! My sister had to have a caesarean (or "c-section" to you americans) because he wasn't positioned correctly. He weighed 7lb 11oz which was more than we expected! Both mum (Jen) and bub are doing well.

So Doctor Who is done and dusted for the year (bar the Christmas ep). I have to say that I LOVED this season!

Donna = win.
I think she has topped the list of favourite companions for me. I was about 'wtf' when it was announce last year that she will be returning. However, I think Catherine Tate is absolutely brilliant now.

This makes me sick.

Yesterday I bought myself an electric skillet. It's quite small and didn't cost much so I don't expect it to last ages but it's better than what I had... which was nothing.
