Pretty sure I have way too much on my plate. At the moment my life consists of doing things solely to make everyone else's lives easier, just so they don't really have to think about what's actually happened and how different things are now. Held a wake for my late mother on Friday night. Twas quite a different kind of event to be having. I for one actually enjoyed it, as I was in the same mind set as her in that we should celebrate life rather than mourn someones passing. Currently in the car on my way home from a week in yarrawonga with Rach at her holiday house. It was nothing but swimming, tennis and DVDs all week. It was excellent. I even tanned a little. I know. It's me getting less pale. Win.

Mother just got home from the results of a test she had to do earlier today to simply announce to me that she's probably dying of cancer. Now I've suspected this all along, but I really never wanted to hear it, now she's got to do a bunch more tests tomorrow, sucks majorly.

I've never felt more awkward than the moment she said that.
