I been trying to take decent pictures of my boys for a while now, and they always look really washed out and nothing near as cute as some of the photos on here... Well, today, I stopped being lazy, and actually got out my lights and got some good ones.

Your rats are better models than mine... I should still try to get some updated photos though so you can see how huge they are now. The tricky one is going to be Jake because he's so skittish, something I can't seem to break him of, but he is getting a little better. Anyway, sorry to hear about the mites.

The trick is, LOTS OF LIGHT. And the flash. You need both.

Also, try giving them a treat to distract them while you snap the photo.
