Ahoy there! Life is good, eh? Doubt any ljfriends are still waiting for posts from me, but to my lj peeps, hello! What an 11 months it has been.
Nothing much to say. Read an awesome post by lj user chaoticidealism (I forget how to link to other journals and will have to relearn if I come back here). Made me think of lj's coolness.
Animal faces resemble people faces from the same continents?
iGoogle just showed me a Namibian leopard. We have a lot of African immigrants in my community, and the shape of the face of such people is similar to the shape of the face of the leopard.
I am racing to the finish line before I hit the road for vacation. I will post then.
For now, I thought I'd note for posterity that I am physically incapable of restraining myself from singing harmony along with the Mamas & Papas when California Dreamin' is on.
Just now finding contemporary and historical photos of actual remnants of the temple(s) that are the setting of my story... these sites are sacred to me in ways not even fiction can explain... these sites and the artifacts salvaged from them are among the items desecrated when the looting and rioting occurred in 2003 when (under the direction of

When I did my personal 2008 retrospective, I saw that although I perceived 2008 as a very hard year, it was more in the nature of challenges attempted and succeeded than random hard stuff. In other words, it was a year of much progress

Nice morning. Mothra woke me once with the nihgtly head boxing ritual. I pushed her off rudely and she did not come back to purr by my side. I prefer no purr sleep time to head boxing purring. Sleep deprivation is not my forte
