I'm worried about The Captain

So, someone's been throwing up a bit around the house recently. Mostly the gross gunk that means hairballs, but while this isn't exactly ordinary behavior, throwing up hairballs isn't all that surprising either.

Islay's in the bedroom. Captain's curled up out here....completely ignoring his treats.

He did not! But we have made alternate arrangements, since that was a fairly cracky plan anyway.

Sending good vibes towards your kitty. Hope it's nothing major. Good luck.

When I first moved to CT I had a pair of cats much the same as yours. One day Eris (or as I called her, Princess lumpy bear) stopped eating and started throwing up bile. She also seemed to have a fever. We took her to the vet and they tested her for everything in the world. It turned out that she had eaten something she shouldn't have. X-rays revealed it to be a dime. (the vet can be quoted as exclaiming "Well I'll be damned!") Surgery removed it and the lumpy little shit was fine ever after (though we stopped leaving loose change around). The point I'm getting at is, if the vet can't find anything, get x-rays.

I'll keep my digits crossed for the Captain. *hugs*
