1.Cam, when she first met him and he was full of enthusiasm and drive, behaved like a gentleman and treated her like an air force officer. It wasn’t hard at all to imagine dating him, marrying him, home and kids and maybe a dog. She told him once, any woman would be lucky to have you, and really, really meant it. But whatever she’d needed for any woman to be her, it wasn’t there

I really like #3, because it does seem like Sam would have wanted more of a connection with Cassie, and falling in love with Janet would have been the perfect way to get that (well, apart from the whole DADT thing).
The rest are lovely too. Wistful and a little sad and very Sam.

4. Rodney McKay
The very thought of being in love with Rodney McKay, when she'd heard about her alternate self's marriage, was disturbing. He was abrasive and arrogant and he'd called her a dumb blonde and - and - he was McKay. She couldn't think of someone she'd be less likely to marry

There are some great insights into Sam here. #1 is great, with Sam acknowledging the person she isn't, and not just the life she doesn't have. And I love #5, with her musings about how life would have been so much easier if she'd fallen for Daniel rather than Jack.

#1 was great, with the stinger at the end. #2 I wouldn't have even thought of, such a great choice! But I think my favourite is #5 - that things would have been easier with Daniel.

Jacob was right there on that elevator when Jack pushed Daniel's glasses up. Every slasher knows that proves they're doin' it!
None so blind as those who will not see, I guess. ;-)
