I've seen at least a few videos of cats ignoring their owners and pawing/leaping at trees this past week, so I can imagine your concern. ^^;

We've never had any cat who was all that bad with the tree, but every time a new cat is experiencing their first Christmas with us we can't help but wonder how they'll react...!

(we've never had any one particularly troublesome incident, but Belle probably remains a major contender for making the most trouble around the Christmas tree)
