Very cool. And I also totally agree with O'Neill-you have no business being on a gate team if you can't deal with people who are different.
Also, I wanna slap that asshat for trying to report him in the first place. *smiles sweetly*

I think I love you :D

And, oh, O’Neill knew that tone of voice. He used it often enough, back in the day. Where ‘back in the day’ meant ‘almost every day right up until he’d become The Man’. It meant, “Sir, from where I’m standing you’re acting completely insane, but either a) I respect you too much to say so or b) it would be suicidal of me to say so at this juncture, so I’ll just say ‘sir’ as a place-holder until you explain what the hell’s going on.”

Here, please accept this BEST PARAGRAPH EVER award.
I don't suppose you're a Terry Pratchett fan by any chance?

*grins* Thank-you! Yeah, huge Pratchett fan. ...wait. Was I channeling Vimes? *cracks up*

Yeah, I did sense sliiight Vimes-ish overtones creeping in there ;) Mainly the bit about the different "sir"s carrying different meanings.

(Oh my god, Jack and Vimes should meet. Wouldn't that be the best crossover crack EVER?)

Yeah, now that you've pointed it out, I can't quite belive I didn't catch that on my own. *sheepish* Oh, well. It works for Jack just as well.

Oh, man, that would be amazing. I'm not quite sure I could do a crossover like that justice, but someone needs to. ...hey, you write fic, yeah? *grin*

I've been waiting for Torchwood/SG crossovers. Or Dr Who/SG crossovers.

Yeah! And you do have Jack's voice down very well. I've also added this to my memories and rec'ed it.
