Another idea occurred to me- with two Jacks on base, it would be way too much fun to be hearing Daniel do his exasperated "Jaaaacck" thing.

The Asgard don't wear clothing; why do I keep seeing Jack Harkness taking that as a cue that Asgard consider clothes optional on their ships? Nudity wouldn't bother Harkness in the least, and he'd probably take the opportunity to go nekkid with great pride in his looks.

I also love O'Neill's line to Roberts. Roberts either needs to let things go, or find another post.

...oh, man, you just know that's what Jack would do. And then when the other SGC personell showed up he'd act completley innocent, as if he were totally unaware that he was butt nekkid.

Love the idea of Captain Jack working with the IOA, the attitudes certain US military officers might have towards him, and Jack O'Neil's priceless reaction!

Huh - I hadn't thought of Jack as being with the IOA, to be honest, but it's an intuiging idea! Out of curiosity, which bit of the fic gave you that impression? (I'm just a little worried that maybe everyone was thinking that, and it wasn't what I'd intended - which means that something needs fixing up. ^^')

I just imagined that since the IOA is international, and had representatives from all different countries, that the UK would be represented by Torchwood/UNIT...

Ah - that makes sense. I was sort of trying to imply that he'd been with the team for longer than the IOA had been around, but your interpretation works too. ^_^

So So cute! I agree with some of the other commenters about your O'Neill voice. I think canneling Pratchett is just the way to translate all those facial expressions into text. Makes me wish I had a place to rec this as well.
